Exhibition Photography and Poetry by Thierry

Photography and poetry

2 years ago, I walked into a singular neighbourhood café resisting the gentrification of the "Eilandje" north of Antwerp. I started writing on the formica table trying to relate and seize the essence of the café. Focussing on details with a camera I refined my experience. I write mainly in French though you will find other languages in my poetry, the koffie verkeerd, wrong coffee being the center point of my plurilingual reflexion.
Picture format is 30 x 40.
Over the years I published poems in diverse periodicals and printed collective works.
