Brussels Green Walk - Part 2

There is a marked walk around the outskirts of Brussels called the Promenade Vert (French) or the Groen Wandeling(Dutch). See http://www.environnement.brussels/thematiques/espaces-verts-et-biodivers.... It is about 60 kilometres. I plan to walk it in 4 days, part each Tuesday. Nine of us walked the first stage on Tuesday 26th.

The second day starts at the Engleland bus stop in Uccle. It’s the last stop before the terminus of the number 60 bus going from Amborix to Uccle-Calevoert. This bus passes through Schuman and Cavell. The bus takes about 45-50 minutes from Schuman. On Tuesday, the bus was being diverted around the Engeland bus stop, so we may need to go to terminus and walk down the hill. There is also a tram stop there but the tram was not running because of roadworks.

This stage is about 15 kilometres. We plan to finish at the Westland Shopping Centre. We should finish between 15:00 and 16:00. There are opportunities to opt out along the way. We will find a restaurant for lunch.

SOs and dogs welcome.
