Brussels Green Walk Part 3

THE DATE HAS CHANGED.

There is a marked walk around the outskirts of Brussels called the Promenade Vert (French) or the Groen Wandeling(Dutch). See http://www.environnement.brussels/thematiques/espaces-verts-et-biodivers.... It is about 60 kilometres. I plan to walk it in 4 days, part each Tuesday. We have walked the first two stages.

The third day starts at the Westland Shopping bus stop in Anderlecht. One way to get there is to take the Metro in the direction of Erasmus and change at Saint Guidon/Sint Guido to the 46 bus, direction Moortebeek. The Westland Shopping centre is the last stop before the terminus. Alternatively, change at Etangs Noirs/Zwarte Vijvers to the 89 bus, direction Westland Shopping.

This stage is about 14 kilometres. We plan to finish at the De Wand bus/tram stop. We should finish between 15:00 and 16:00. There are opportunities to opt out along the way. We will find a restaurant for lunch.

SOs and dogs welcome.

You will need
Comfortable shoes. The path is good but there may be a few puddles.
Drinking water
Wet weather gear if it looks like it might rain.
Bus/Tram/Metro ticket to get back
